Hi, I’m James Wright—a producer and director who loves making bold, eye-catching content for TV and digital. I’ve created documentaries for Netflix, the BBC, and Discovery+, telling stories everywhere from CERN to NASA to inside a volcano.
Whether it’s a high-end doc or a snappy social video, I bring the same energy: striking visuals, sharp storytelling, and a knack for making big ideas feel exciting. Recent projects include Tony Robinson’s Marvellous Machines (UKTV) and Hitler’s Engineers (Sky History). When I’m not making content, I’m probably geeking out over space, cooking, or building LEGO.
